I was telling my youngest son about mantras yesterday as he was about to take a standardized school test. I told him to create some supportive small sentences
like I am smart. I am loved. I am calm. To repeat them over and over to get Zen.
Today he told me he had made some new ones.
I am winning on the inside of my heart now.

I feel like we all need some “things” to get us through these days/weeks that feel like sticky honey. I feel like I am sludging through time right now. Dragging a lot of weight and worry. I make lists in a small notebook of things that help. Help what? Just being a human right now. That’s it. <3

  1. Really try and just take one day to think the world is rigged in your favor. Like, if something goes right… obvi. But if something goes wrong, take that with a head nod and imagine it is saving you from something worse. Or it is leading you to another place. Or you are just unable to see clearly right now. Maybe lean into the trusting the universe thing. For one small day. Report back.

  2. Set timers to remind you that you are indeed one hell of a human. That you are fabulous and strong and calm-ish. I like to tell Alexa to remind me of my gorgeous heart and sex appeal every night at 9 pm. Helps.
